Answers
• while using, the speed of mouse cursor slows down.
After pressing the NAVInote icon and go to the "Selecting system" - "System properties" from the menu bar, then check the "Slow sampling mode". You can use it with the normal precision of ordinary mouse but faster than before.
• Under Window XP, hardware is not connected automatically.
In the earlier OEM version of Windows XP, it is not possible to connect automatically due to the bug of the operating system. So you need to run the "NAVInote" icon from the desktop. Please update your OS by visiting windows update site.
• "NAVInote is not connected" icon appears. What should I do??
First, check the USB cable connected between the NAVInote and your PC. If the NAVInote is connected properly, select the "My Computer" - "Control Panel" - "System" - "Hardware" - "Device Manager" - "Port (COM and LPT)" to see if the NAVInote driver is listed under the COM port. If the NAVInote driver is not installed, install the NAVInote driver software. If you still cannot execute the NAVInote, contact the nearest customer service center.
• Sometimes, the character seems distorted. What is a reason?
If data transmission is interrupted, character distortion can be occurred. Some examples are as follows; (1) there is an obstacle between a pen and the Station, (2) the pen or NAVI-station is hidden by your hands. If these cases, the data transmission can be interrupted.
If the battery is discharged, it may cause malfunction. In such case, it may work near to the station, but as the distance gets further, characters may crack.
Please replace the batteries with new ones.
• Handwriting is distorted in the 'tablet mode1 or ' tablet mode2' when using with Photoshop.
Photoshop draws an image with a different method from other general graphic software. Therefore, if you draw a picture in the ordinary tablet mode 1 or the tablet mode2, it will be distorted.
Once you click the NAVInote icon from the taskbar and deselect the "Photoshop correction mode selection" box from "System setting" - "system property setting", you can avoid cracking of the drawings.
• Handwriting is slow in the Handwriting Navigator
You can resolve this problem of slow handwriting input in the low capacity PC by selecting the number close to 100 in the "Set Pen Update" menu. (Select "Options & Execute" - " Set Default Options" - "General Setting " menu)
• NAVInote is wet. What should I do?
If NAVInote is wet, disconnect USB cable. Then, dry it under the shade or contact the nearest customer service center for further check.
